This movie is not suitable for young children. Although it is not rated, we would probably rate it a PG11–13 due to a few intense scenes. Parental Guidance is advised. Parents should be aware that there are some scenes that might be too intense and disturbing for their children, such as the war scenes, self-flagellation scenes and encounters with the devil as well as the intensity of the resetting of Ignatius’ broken leg.
