Prior Programs/Information:

Founded in February 2004, The Caring Place is a partnership of faith communities offering social, educational and spiritual support in a caring and healing environment to all seniors, adults with special needs and their families.

Both active seniors, caregivers, and those in need of the assistance will find true community, encouragement, educational opportunities and practical services through The Caring Place.

Key aspects of The Caring Place partnership are:

  • Exceptional learning events and social opportunities
  • Volunteer, outreach and advocacy opportunities
  • Resource information and service referrals to community care services
  • Community networking
  • Catholic spiritual guidance

The Caring Place is a faith-based partnership of the Roman Catholic Communities of the Community of the Blessed Sacrament—Scottsdale, St. Patrick Catholic Community—Scottsdale and St. Joan of Arc—Northeast Phoenix.

The Caring Place collaborates with supporting organizations, such as, Foundation for Senior Living, Duet Partners in Health & Aging, and Healing Through the Body of Christ Cancer Ministry. These organizations provide volunteer training, professional assessments of needs, and services to homebound adults, caregivers and faith communitiesI

If you are interested in serving on The Caring Place's Advisory Board, contact Dr. Honora Norton, Parish manager at 480-948-8370, X223.
