Caring Place Partner - Foundation for Senior Living's professional staff and Scottsdale Adult Day Health Services' facility at 7375 E 2nd St, Scottsdale, AZ  85251, will help your loved one & you too! How? Your loved one gets to safely exercise his/her mind & body and socialize with peers - allowing caregivers to relax and know their loved one is safe.  Transportation and additional funding options maybe available.  Hours of Operation:  Monday-Friday 7am - 6pm. Call Chris Barreto, MSW, a Foundation for Senior Living Social Worker at 602-532-2980 to discuss:

• Socialization & emotional well-being:
• Meet new friends and share life-experiences together
• Enhance self-esteem; decrease loneliness & depression
• Enjoy daily coffee: weather & news with friends
• Weekly music, entertainment & dance
• Weekly outings: library, museums, shops, restaurants, etc.
• Cognitive stimulation:
• Restore creativity and emotional well-being
• Increase alertness & attention span
• Improve problem-solving and decision-making
• Staff-moderated discussion to reminisce with friends
• Interact with furry friends & "pet-therapy"
• Stimulate brain activity & mental thought; word games: cross word, scrabble, puzzles, bingo, memory exercise & trivia
• Physical activities: 
• Improve gross & fine motor skills: eye/hand coordination
• Seated exercise-build strength without balance concerns
• Build dexterity to better manage environmental barriers
• Enhance endurance and overall activity levels
• Medical monitoring:
• Registered Nurse (RN) tracks and monitors client health & develops care goals consistent with physician guidelines
• Medication administration (including injections)
• Health-talks and guest presentations for enhanced well-being

Again, this facility is for adults of all ages who need support and assistance during the day, it's essential to find a caring environment that provides activity, rehabilitation, and companionship.  FSL's ADHS provides seniors and adults with disabilities a wide range of social, recreational, medical, and therapeutic services in a caring, attractive setting.  Seniors and adults of all ages interact, including those with physical disabilities; people with Alzheimer's Disease and dementia; stroke survivors; and seniors who cannot stay alone at home during the day.
